After starting off her career in Bollywood with Dabangg, (quite literally), Sonakshi Sinha has carved a niche for herself and has gone on to pick some impressive roles in films like Lootera, Akira, Noor and her most recent release Ittefaq – which did really well at the box office and got her some much deserved critical acclaim. What’s interesting about Ittefaq was that the makers chose not to promote the film in a traditional way and stayed away from all television promotions and city visits. The gamble paid off and the film raked in all the moolah at the box office.
Sonakshi is known to be friends with a lot of actresses and is often seen hanging out with them. In a recent interview with DNA, she was asked about catfights in Bollywood and Sona had an answer I think is absolutely true.
I don’t understand why that’s said only about heroines. I can tell you men are more insecure and also gossip more than women. They are the ones who gossip the most.
Hahaha. Most girls will tell you this is fairly true. On the work front, Sonakshi has just wrapped up Happy Bhaag Jayegi 2 alongside Diana Penty. She also spoke about how this movie excites her because she plays a Punjabi in the film, and as all know, Sona is a self confessed wannabe Punjabi! Haha.
