As we’re reeling closer and closer to 2018 we can’t help but think of all the amazing fashion moments we’ve seen throughout 2017. From stunning red carpet appearances to viral Instagram posts, we bet you’ll agree when we say that these fashion moments were ones that had grabbed our attention like no other. In no particular order, here are the top 10 fashion moments of 2017!
1) Aishwarya Rai At Cannes
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s 2017 Michael Cinco gown made her look like a real-life Barbie. While we did wonder how she sat in it, her effortlessness is what totally stole the show.
2) A Victoria’s Secret Angel Falls On The Runway
Chinese model Ming Xi found herself in a __ state at the Victoria’s Secret show this year in Shanghai. She was the first VS angel to trip on the runway, but she quickly composed herself and got back up. What we especially loved is how co VS angel, Gizele Oliveira helped her up and waited patiently as she finished her walk.
3) Kanye and Kim Kardashian West’s Kids Line
Did you know Kim and Kanye made almost all of their own kids’ clothes? Well, now you can have them too! The couple launched a kids clothing brand called The Kids Supply which is extremely similar to North and Saint’s closet.
4) Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week Show
If there was a day we were constantly staring at our phones it would have to be during Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week show. The clothes were high-fashion chic as always but this set is what won us over completely!
5) Kaia Gerber’s Modelling Debut
American model and actress, Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber made her modelling debut with Calvin Klien’s show at New York Fashion week this September. The talent is clearly in the genes!
6) Versace Golden Girls
If there was a moment in 2017 where our jaws dropped right to the floor, it has got to be when all of the biggest supermodels walked the ramp for Donatella Versace. Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Helena Christensen wore shimmery gowns and closes her Milan Fashion Week show with a bang.
7) Beyonce’s Instagram-Breaking Pregnancy Announcement
Reason #234938 why Beyonce is truly Queen Bey! She looked absolutely ethereal under a sheer green veil showing off her baby bump in front of a floral backdrop in full bloom. PS: This is currently the most liked photo on instagram.
8) Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma Show
If the word badass was a person, it would have to be Pon De Replay singer, Rihanna. (Yes, that is still one of my favorite Rihanna songs) While most designers walk down the ramp at the end of their show ready to soak in all the applause, the singer and entrepreneur decided to do it a lil differently at the FentyxPuma show at NYFW.
9) Kendall Jenner On The Cover Of Vogue India
My favorite Kardashian-Jenner lady was on the cover of one of my favorite magazines and it was downright amazing. Shot by Mario Testino, Kendall Jenner looked absolutely stunning on the cover.
10) Priyanka Chopra’s Met Gala Trench Gown
Oh, the flood of memes that Priyanka Chopra’s Met Gala gown brought about! It wasn’t just a noteworthy moment for the fashion industry but the entertainment industry, too. But our favorite thing about this Ralph Lauren creation is how it transformed into a sexy short dress for the afterparty.
