A short video of Virat Kohli singing ‘Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi‘ on his wedding day is doing the rounds on social media. Please note that this blog has been written by my tears. Don’t think I need to add any more words to this, apart from the fact that this is our version of a royal wedding and I don’t think I’ll be this happy on my own shaadi.

Virat and Anushka met for the first time on the sets of an ad in 2013. Soon enough, the cricketer and the actress were spotted together and rumours of them dating started doing the rounds. It was in 2014 when the rumours became legit as Virat headed straight to Anushka’s house after landing in Mumbai for a match against South Africa. Later in the year, Anushka was spotted in New Zealand and Australia when the Indian cricket team was playing there.
It was in November 2014 when Virat gave the world a glimpse of some PDA after scoring a century against Sri Lanka in India. He gave Anushka a flying kiss!
As a fan who love Virat and Anushka, it’s an emotional moment for all of us. It all started on set of a TVC shoot and today they are reportedly married. We just don’t know how to express our happiness.

Early in 2016, there were rumours that the golden couple had taken a break, which collectively broke our hearts. But after some months, the two reconciled and everything was alright in the world again.
And now, they’re married!
