The casting directors of Bollywood do a damn good job at bringing together jodis that have a crackling chemistry together on screen. I trust them to fulfil my wish list of actors I want to see together in reel life very soon. The fresh pairings we saw on the big screen in 2017 were undeniably great, but the ones you will see on screen in 2018 will leave you a tad bit impatient for the new year.

1. Varun Dhawan & Anushka Sharma in Sui Dhaga
Varun & Anushka team up for YRF’s upcoming venture is a heart-warming tale of pride and self-reliance, based on every passionate, hard-working Indian.
2. Sumeet Vyas & Kareena Kapoor in Veere Di Wedding
The poster boy of Indian web series & Bollywood’s Queen Bee are coming together for India’s first mainstream film on female boding. I don’t really need to say more, do I?
3. Akshay Kumar & Sonam Kapoor/Akshay Kumar & Radhika Apte in Padman
This one is going to be awesome, we just know it. Based on Twinkle Khanna‘s short story by the same name, Radhika & Sonam play the role of women who had a pivotal role in making the protagonist’s goal a success.
4. Vicky Kaushal & Alia Bhatt in Raazi
2 of the best actors in Bollywood being directed by noted filmmaker, Meghna Gulzar. We are already intrigued.

You know, Akshay has this strange talent of adding spark to any and every chemistry. That is why I am yet to come across any actress whom I did not like opposite him. I am sure the streak will continue with Mouni.
6. Ishaan Khattar & Janhvi Kapoor in Dhadak
Sridevi’s daughter opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother being launched in Bollywood by Karan Johar. Will history repeat itself with these new students? We’ll have to wait & find out. *Fingers crossed*
7. Sushant Singh Rajput & Sara Ali Khan in Kedarnath
Apart from Janhvi, we are eagerly awaiting Sara Ali Khan‘s Bollywood debut too. The girls have really big shoes to fill, but we think they are in good hands.

8. Prabhas & Shraddha Kapoor in Saaho
Shraddha is starring opposite south superstar, Prabhas who has become Bollywood’s favourite after his fabulous portrayal of Bahubali.
