EVC 2017

This past weekend, we were graced by the music Gods who came down in the form of Comio EVC Mumbai 2017, and boy what a show it was. Held at the NESCO compound in Mumbai, the location was a drastic change from their usual Aamby Valley spot. Despite the change in venue, the organisers were able to retain the vibe surrounding the promised line-up, so kudos to them! The crowd was wild and full of energy as one has come to expect from festivals like this. With the festival kicking off from 2 pm we knew, we were in for 2 days of pure music madness.

A Look Back At EVC Day 1

Day 1 at EVC saw artists like Snow Flakes, Get Massive, Ruben De Ronde, RODG, Marlo and Markus Schulz who all delivered ear-gasmic sets one after another. The last set of the day gave us exactly what we have come to expect from EVC, with the legendary Armin Van Buuren. The build-up, energy and set were the perfect way to end day 1 leaving us in awe and wanting more.

Day 2 At EVC Be Like

Cue in day 2! With artists like Hugel, Shirley Setia, Nucleya, Robin Schulz, Arijit Singh and DJ Chetas we knew, we were in for a power-packed day! With mind-blowing performances from Hugel and Nucleya to the hypnotic performance from Robin Schulz and Shirley Setia, day 2 kept it coming. The cherry on the cake was the soulful performance by none other than Arijit Singh who unsurprisingly, stole the show. Day 2 ended on a high note with DJ Chetas, whose set was a perfect end to what were 2 epic days.

EVC 2017

EVC delivered as promised and then some. This in turn totally helped us forgive them for the venue change. It’s festivals like this, that help put India on the global music map and we truly can’t and we mean can’t, wait for the next one!
