After the abysmal performance of the Wii U, the Nintendo Switch was like a breath of fresh air for gamer’s all over and Nintendo alike. What makes the Switch stand out is the fact that it’s the only on-the-go console, which means, it doesn’t need to be plugged in to be able to play it. The bonus to this were the platform exclusive games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and Super Mario Odyssey both of which, were one of the best games of 2017. Nintendo has elevated the console experience and we’re actually looking to see what the others have as a reply to it.

Microsoft seems to be trying to even the playing field with Apple with their Surface-book 2.  We’ve got to say though, it’s actually pretty damn good! The Surface laptop took all the strong traits of the Surface Pro and made it more traditional in a sense. While it isn’t the most impeccable laptop in terms of what’s-under-the-hood, the sleek design, battery life and gorgeous display help us get over it.

The Xbox One X lands in at a slightly lower spot than the more ‘portable’ Nintendo Switch but that’s the only reason why. In terms of power and specs, the Xbox One X is way more superior than any other gaming console in the market. It probably doesn’t seem ideal for casual gamer’s but for the more serious gamer’s out there, it cant be overlooked.

When you think about buying a decent drone, you often think about how much you’ll have to spend for it. Here is where the DJI Spark makes its entrance. Being one of the most simple to operate (hand gestures) and probably the cheaper of the lot, it makes for the perfect drone for someone who isn’t as experienced. With its small battery life and rather limited range though, more experienced users may shy away from it.

The new Amazon Echo 2 continues what Amazon has been trying to achieve with its voice-activated operating systems. While the Echo 2 is the face-lifted version of the original Echo, it also comes with a wider skill-set for Alexa. It is smaller and wider than the original Echo, which actually makes it a lot more desire-able! That being said, it’s actually the price that makes the Amazon Echo 2 the most compelling buy.
