Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have kept a bit of a low key profile since the controversy surrounding their movie Padmavati reached new highs (or actually lows). The couple were last spotted together at the launch of Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone and former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid‘s high tech sports center in Bangalore. Now, as per reports on Peepingmoon.com, Deepika and Ranveer have snuck out of the city and have headed to Maldives to bring in the New Year.
But, but, according to an article on Mid-Day, the couple are going to be welcoming 2018 in Sri Lanka. So as of now, it’s unclear which island country it’ll finally be. It seems like Deepika, who was in Austria, will be joining Ranveer soon at the destination. Ranveer on the other hand, bumped into Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani at the Colombo International Airport.

Again, he could be in Colombo as Sri Lanka is a stopover for most flights from Mumbai to Maldives, or he could be there because Sri Lanka is the final destination. Guess we’ll only know if the notoriously private couple posts something on their social media pages. I know it’s unlikely, but a girl can hope right?
