It is when fashionistas like Sonam Kapoor try out new trends and get them going, we pay attention. Be it a traditional sari or a modern outfit, we are keen on seeing how she always amps up her style game.
Sonam made an appearance on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi Grand Finale for promotions of her new movie Padman. Celebrity stylist and her sister Rhea Kapoor picked out this rich sari designed by Hemang Agrawal for the same. The luxurious, dual-tone weave was given a twist by draping it in a stylish way. The sari pallu that usually goes behind was brought forward in a Gujarati style but was draped at the neck in a deep V. Even such a small detail made it look like a different outfit. To give it a modern touch, she ditched the traditional blouse and went for a vest. The neck drape was embellished with the ornate necklace and the colour theme continued with the earrings and hand kadas, all from Amrapali Jewels. She styled the ensemble with gold kolhapuris.
Celebrity makeup artist Shraddha Naik went for a muted dewy look with darker tones on the eyes and celebrity hairstylist Hiral Bhatia styled her main in a loose up-do.
Switching gears later, we saw her donning an oversized denim jacket with a shirt and black pants underneath, styled with loafers.
