Let’s be honest, mastering the traditional drape is a task in itself, let alone acing different styles of saris. So, we can’t help but gawk at Shilpa Shetty Kundra‘s strong sari game that’s always on display for us to take inspiration from.
Also, we wouldn’t think of specially selecting a sari that is weather-appropriate and glamorous, but that is exactly what Shilpa did for her friend’s 50th birthday at Jaipur. The sari was custom-made for her by our favourite designer Manish Malhotra.
What made this sari fit for a chilly night at Jaipur? The seamless blend of velvet and pashmina kept her warm, and the woven antique tilla zari from Kashmir enhanced the regality of the drape. The cut-out back detail of the blouse was what made the all-covered-up look sexy. She styled this luxurious ensemble with a layered necklace from Anmol Jewellers and a statement box clutch.
Even her hubby, Raj Kundra was on-point with his sharp, tailored outfit. They looked like a dapper couple ready to take on the fashion police, didn’t they?
