Most of you will remember Anupriya Goenka as the feisty and brave nurse from Tiger Zinda Hai. In a film with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, this woman held her own and performed effortlessly. We felt her pain in every scene and that definitely is a reflection of her talent. She originally hails from Kanpur and used to work in her father’s family business until they moved to Mumbai and she decided to pursue theatre. It was meant to be a temporary phase until she got back to a corporate job but you know what they say about acting – it liberates you in a way that no other job will – and from then on, there was no looking back for her. She began her journey with commercials and one thing led to another.

Also both Salman sir and Katrina are very warm and their interactions always have a personal touch. More than intimidated I think I feel more in love with Salman sir. Growing up to Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and watching them a dozen times over only made this project super special for me because here I was right in front of my favourite actor all set to perform a scene. So while I was this little girl all nervous and anxious and also excited it only became more and more fantastic with the way I was treated by Salman sir on the set. He is just this beautiful energy that you have around and you can never have enough of him. He is so caring, thoughtful and patient with new comers. His inputs in scenes and just jovial energy never made us feel like we had to get nervous.
