What better way to celebrate our pets and other furry friends than dedicating a night of music to them? The Bombay Society For Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals has organised a charity event to help raise funds for their activities, which include the treatment and care of over 10,000 animals. The BSPCA also organises education and awareness programmes and employs inspectors/social workers to effectively monitor and curb animal cruelty cases.

Given that there are many animals who don’t get the care and attention they need, simply because of a lack of funds available to organisations, we love that the BSPCA is taking the initiative and adding a special touch to it by integrating it with amazing musical performances.

So here’s all you need to know about this musical night:

This young ensemble consists of students from the Cathedral & John Connon School. These guys have been together for four years now and love performing for causes close to their hearts and they cover different styles of jazz.

The A Team consists of a group of kids from Cathedral & John Connon School, the Ambani and the American School. They will be playing part-fusion renditions of popular songs.

3. The students of the Special Music Training School of NCPA

The kids from the NCPA’s Special Music Training programme are some of the most talented young musicians in India. The student’s orchestra will be performing pieces from the greats like Mozart, Leroy Anderson and many more.
