As far as Sundays go, yesterday was pretty epic thanks to MissMalini‘s Braunch party (Brunch + Book Launch = Braunch) Aside from making up words like braunch, we also had 12 other things that we absolutely loved about yesterday and we thought it appropriate to list them down for you guys, coz let’s be honest, what’s life without a little FOMO now and then? Right? Right, okay…let’s do this.

1. Toast Events and their head honcho Harshad Chavan and Michelle Sanghvi

None of the awesomeness of yesterday would’ve been possible without Harshad Chavan of Toast Events. From working tirelessly leading up to the event and setting up the entire event space, to staying behind-the-scenes throughout the day to ensure everything went smoothly, this team made it happen.

2. The pink carpet

It was pink. Need we say more?

3. The beach-side venue, Estella

Everything’s better by the sea. Estella’s beautiful interiors and exteriors perfectly complemented the brunch vibe.

4. The super fun photo booth

With props like the unicorn horn and the astronaut’s helmet, everyone got to experience a little of MissMalini’s special brand of magic. This was put up in less than 24 hours, if you can imagine.

5. The collect-able coasters

Harshad took it one step further by printing the coolest coasters, with excerpts from the book and we just loved it! Overnight, that too.

6. All ’em drinks

Is a brunch ever truly a brunch without being a little boozy? We think not. So obviously we loved all the signature cocktails courtesy Jamie Walker and Diageo, along with cold ones from Bira and bubbly from Fratelli. We defs had our bases covered.

(function(d, s, id) {  var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];  if (d.getElementById(id)) return;  js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;  js.src = ‘https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.11’;  fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

And for those teetotalling types, there was also Red Bull.

7. The rocket

MissMalini even jokingly (not-so-jokingly) admitted that she secretly did all of this just so that she could have her very own rocket launch complete with a NASA sounding countdown. Even this amazing display was brought to life overnight. Can you imagine?

8. The CEO and CRO speeches

Our CEO and CEO of MissMalini’s heart, Nowshad Rizwanullah made us all collectively aww when he took to the stage to introduce and applaud his wife and partner. And then, Mike Melli doubled the feels when he thanked Team MissMalini for making it all happen. *reaches out for the tissue box* We’re not crying, you’re crying!

9. Team Awesome

It might seem self-congratulatory, but it’s not that. We just love our team for giving meaning to the phrase #friendslikefamily.

10. All the stars

Shilpa Shetty Kundra and sis Shamita Shetty were only 2 of the many stars that came out to support Malini.

Adhuna Bhabani was among the first to arrive.

Anupam Kher showed up!

Rahul Khanna also came through and made all of us weak in the knees in one clean sweep.

Diana Penty looked super brunch fab and had us eating out of her hand.

And so many, many more from Narendra Kumar to Abish Mathew and Mallika Dua and Saqib Saleem, Tara Sharma Saluja, Nusrat Bharucha, Niddhi Agerwal the list goes on and on.

11. The BossLady’s OOTD

MissMalini was looking every bit the star she is wearing a shimmy-ready sparkly cocktail dress by Nandita Mahtani complemented by jewellery from Isharya.

12. The book…duh!

And obviously, we LOVED the book that came to life all thanks to Harper Collins India.

Check out all the pictures from the party here:
