Mouni Roy is on a career high these days. She bid goodbye to her popular show, Naagin, and has been reportedly replaced by Surbhi Jyoti in the upcoming season. However, she has 2 very ambitious Bollywood projects in her kitty – Gold with Akshay Kumar and Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt.
As per a report in DNA, Mouni is playing a negative role in Brahmastra. A source was quoted saying that:
Alia will obviously play the damsel in distress, who is Ranbir’s love interest in the trilogy. But Mouni will play a villain in the first part. Her character will have shades of grey.
