Katrina Kaif has been in the news for the last couple of weeks for looking a tad bit different. Her face has been a little swollen and people jumped to the conclusion that she has gotten botox or gone under the knife. It’s nothing new for actresses to hear – they’re often under the scanner for even looking slightly different. Remember when Anushka Sharma received a lot of flak for her plumped lips during Bombay Velvet? It was later revealed it was for the film but the hate that came her way was totally uncalled for.
A source close to Katrina has come forth to rubbish those rumours now and told DNA that the reason for her swollen face was that she was having problems with her wisdom tooth. She couldn’t see her dentist due to her packed schedule, which in-turn led to her infection being aggravated and spreading. The antibiotics she took before dental surgery is what reportedly led to the swelling.
Her wisdom tooth has been acting up. She neglected it and attended two events — a party thrown in honour of photographer Mario Testino in Delhi and Anurag Basu’s Saraswati puja after her return,” a source close to the actress said.We hope she’s feeling okay now. 🙂
