Remember Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day? If you were a fan then you’re going to be super excited to know that these two legends collaborated and brought to this makeup-filled beauty world a product that every one will love. Behold, the Basket Case Anti-Precision Liner.
This retractable pencil is basically the holy grail for all your future smokey eyes. Because of its long-wear and smudge-able formula you can layer and smear the liner over with ease. And, it’s super, super pigmented.
Joe Armstrong mentions that the Basket Case liner is possibly the first “guy eyeliner”. As he recalls always having to borrow a liner pencil every time he wanted to wear his signature kohl-rimmed look for his music videos.
In an exclusive interview with Billboard, Kat comments about the product saying;
“It has a lot of versatility; you can use it in different ways. But, I wanted to create a long-wear, high-pigmented, really easy to use eyeliner that would create something as messy and anti-precision as the way Billie Joe wears it on stage, or if you just want to do smoked out black eyes.”
