We aren’t one bit surprised that Deepika Padukone managed to floor everyone (yet again) in Padmaavat. She has garnered appreciation from all corners for her powerful portrayal of Rani Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s magnum opus. Her co-stars, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor have also done a phenomenal job and we think this trio is going to sweep all the awards this year.
DP’s long list of admirers also includes her ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor‘s parents – Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor. They attended the film’s screening and sent a beautiful bouquet along with a handwritten note to Deepika afterwards. She graciously thanked them in an Instagram post.
