Actor Mark Salling, best known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Glee, has died, according to his attorney. He was 35. Reports suggest that the actor committed suicide, but that news has remained unconfirmed as of now. In a statement to CNN, Mark’s lawyer stated –

I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning. Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment.

In May 2016, the actor pleaded guilty on the count of possessing of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor. His sentencing was scheduled for March 7, 2018. As part of a plea deal, Mark was expected to be sentenced to 4-7 years in federal prison, followed by a 20-year period of supervised release and registration as a sex offender.
