Preity Zinta has been one of my favourite actresses of all times. Most of the roles she has portrayed are quite well etched in my mind, be it Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veer Zaara, Salaam Namaste, Kya Kehna, Dil Chahta Hai, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Mission Kashmir, I can go on and on. She also had an admirable screen presence, so much so that it was hard to ignore her even if she played the supporting role in a movie – case in point – KANK, Lakshya or Dil Se. No wonder she ruled the Box Office & our hearts for almost a decade!
Preity, who got married to Gene Goodenough in 2016, celebrates her 43rd birthday today. Her friends from the industry – Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Ramesh Taurani, Iulia Vantur and Sonakshi Sinha surprised her at midnight for a little celebration.
