Karan Johar is everywhere – in the movies, in the papers, in magazines, on television, and now on the radio too! Bollywood’s biggest social butterfly has turned RJ for Ishq FM and often gives out love and life advice to people on the show. His friends too send in their messages for him every now and then – like this one that Katrina Kaif sent him when she was asked if she’d take advice from Karan.
Karan has taken advice from me, once. I would never ask anyone for love advice, but I would ask Karan for advice on clothes. I call him up when I’m confused about what to wear to a party.I would call him up, when I’d want advice or opinion on a song or a movie that has come out. He’s very good for that.
Haha. Karan does seem like the perfect person to go to for when you need outfit advice, don’t you think? But, did you know Karan actually goes to Katrina Kaif for love advice? Yup, he said on his own show…
So, Katrina only you and I know that there was a juncture in my life where I was completely backed against a wall and I felt the need to talk to someone. We were in the gym together and at the end of the session I said, ‘I really need to talk.’ I went with her and we had a two hour chat and what I did as a result of that conversation post that was only because of Katrina Kaif’s advice.
He added,
Katrina is somebody who everybody thinks is a huge star, is beautiful and gorgeous and all those things, but she is an intensely emotional girl and Katrina’s EQ is amazingly solid. She has a terrific understanding of human emotions and dynamics, and she is a go to person when you have an emotional encounter in your life. I rarely go to anyone but I know Katrina is one person I would go to because she would give me very solid and sane advice.
