Day 5 of LFW Saw All Of B-Town On The Runway

The last day of Lakme Fashion Week packed all the B-town power it possibly could. While we were expecting to see only Kareena Kapoor Khan at the finale, we saw at least a dozen more celebrities shine on the runway before the last show even commenced.

From the beautiful clothes to the glamourous showstoppers we’ve got it all covered for you. Check out our roundup of all designers from the last day of the fashion week that gave us all the right kind of feels to last us until the next season.

1. Crow

The lovely Swara Bhaskar closed a magnanimous collection of khadi pieces at Crow by Shaila Khubchandani.

2. Tahweave

A summer-worthy collection with loads of interesting silhouettes to play with, Tahweave’s pieces took the runway without any showstopper but was every bit fabulous.

3. Nakita Singh

It was summer in full bloom at Nakita Singh‘s show with intricate and colourful floral detailing.

4. Amit Wadhwa

Kartik Aryan looked a little extra handsome in Amit Wadhwa’s easy breezy men’s collection. The pieces from the collection emulated a dapper boy with an effortlessly stylish streak.

5. Ridhi Mehra

From tassels to sequins, fur to fringes Ridhi Mehra‘s collection conquered all, with the beautiful Pooja Hegde as the showstopper.

6. Jayanti Reddy

We were all in awe of the Victorian ruffles spotted at Jayanti Reddy and Shilpa Shetty Kundra took our happiness to the next level with her glorious strut on the runway and her exquisite look.

7. Vineet Rahul

Tisca Chopra took the head ramp at Vineet Rahul’s show that showcased the beautiful romance between summer and nature.

8. Lajjoo C.

The lovely colour palette of olive and brass at Lajjoo C gave Indian wear a whole new edge.

9. Shyamal & Bhumika

The collection was true to its name Wonderland, and was nothing but a dream for both men and women. The collection with brilliant elements of colour, embroidery, and embellishments featured Kangana Ranaut as the muse of the designers. And yes, she made us all speechless.

10. Punit Balana

The unique mix of embellishments and intricate indigenous prints dominated Punit Balana‘s collection for which the stylish Diana Penty was the showstopper.

11. Agami By Neha Agarwal

The mesmerizing collection had a mix of muted base colors and pastel hues for the detailing. The fierce Vaani Kapoor walked the runway in a gorgeous mint blue crop top and lehenga.

12. Burgoyne Presents Narendra Kumar

Narendra Kumar presented his line with the most fun party on the runway. From fierce tracksuits to bohemian Afro hair, there’s nothing wild this show didn’t have. Speaking of wild, we saw the dapper Rahul Khanna dressed in all white ensemble, joining the party like a VIP on the runway.

13. De Belle

The poetic collection of De Belle played with some monochrome magic and Malaika Arora Khan added more stars to the show.

14. Aarbee by Ravi Bhalotia

The collection perfect for any summer bride, saw none other than Karisma Kapoor glowing on the runway in the exquisite showstopper piece from Aarbee’s Summer Resort 18 line.

15. Julie Shah

From ruffled sleeves to sheer drapes, Julie by Julie Shah had the lovely Kiara Advani closing the elegant, summery collection.

16. Raamz & Chandrika Raamz

Karan Singh Grover strutted on the runway in pink and many girls’ hearts skipped a beat. We can’t blame them!

17. Anamika Khanna

The grand finale was every bit magical and dramatic that we’d imagine it to be. The collection saw the traditional zardozi being mixed in the most creative ways. Kareena Kapoor Khan was undoubtedly the most spectacular element of the show and we couldn’t help but bow down to her fierce walk on the steps of Bandra Fort.
