Fans were left disappointed when The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) was pulled off air for a myriad of reasons. Things went downhill after Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma‘s rather public tiff, and buzz was that the show was facing a lot of trouble maintaining its place in the TRP charts. Kapil was also busy with his second Bollywood film, Firangi, which occupied most of his time. Furthermore, he had long put his health on the back burner and simply couldn’t ignore it anymore.
However, a few months ago Kapil talked about new show in the offering and also hinted at a possible reunion with Sunil. As per latest reports, the comedian is now finally returning with a new show with the same cast (except Sunil) and some new faces. It’s not an extension of TKSS, but a brand new show altogether. Kapil was quoted telling a leading daily:
Can’t tell much about this show .. as the channel will only announce about this .. but yes, it’s not the same show.. it’s different.
The name of the show has not been finalised yet, but a source close to them revealed that the entire team is working very hard to make the show bigger and better than before. Good luck, guys!
