Just when you thought you couldn’t find more #beautyinspo, NYFW reveals some more gorgeous looks! From chignons to cut creases, the hair and makeup on day 5 were truly outstanding. Here are all of our favourites.
1. The ’20s Inspired Makeup At Libertine
The glittery, smudged smokey eye seen on the models was edgy and grungy at the same time. Some of the models even sported crimped hair to complement their eyes.
2. Dramatic Eyes At Anna Sui
Makeup Queen, Pat McGrath, gave the models a statement-worthy cut crease using a striking shade of purple. A soft wash of pink was added to the lids and cheeks to bring the look together.
3. OTT Nails At Area
We’ve heard of chandelier earrings, but this is the first time we’ve spotted the style on someone’s nails! Embellished with long trails of crystals, the models’ tips definitely stood out on the runway.
4. Earthy Tones At 3.1 Phillip Lim
Kohl-rimmed eyes took centre stage at this show. The mix of a brown and black liner, coupled with radiant skin and sheer lips allowed the makeup to look natural, yet put together.
5. Subtle Shimmer Oscar de la Renta
With their pink eyeshadow and soft waves, the vibe here could only be described as dreamy. The hint of glitter on the lids added the perfect amount of glam.
6. Blue Beauty At Carolina Herrera
Every model walked down the ramp with a fierce, blue smoky eye, which had touches of silver to it. The hair stayed elegant with a twisted chignon.
Which of these looks did you love the most?
