The last rites of Sridevi are going to begin soon as close friends, family and the media are visiting her residence to pay their respects. In a new update on the happenings of this sad day, it has been declared that the late superstar will be cremated with State Honours. Here’s the official statement –
Padma Shri Sridevi will be cremated with state honours. Arrangements have been made by the state government for the elaborate event. The late actor will be honoured with a gun salute and the body will be draped in the national flag. Mumbai Police band has reached Celebration Sports Club.
The darshan ended at 12.30 pm and now there’s a pooja being held at the venue. After the pooja, Sridevi’s final journey will commence at 2 pm from Celebration Sports Club to Pawan Hans.
