However, during an episode of BFFs with Vogue, when she made an appearance with her sister Anisha Padukone, we found out that the two of them had grown apart for a while.
Anisha admitted to pushing Deepika away when she had become a star to avoid the kind of attention the family was suddenly getting. Anisha found it difficult to differentiate between ‘Deepika the actor’ and ‘Deepika the person’. But over the last 4-5 years, they have reconnected. And clearly, the bond between the sister duo is now stronger than ever.
