We’re still reeling from the excitement of Kim Kardashian‘s first Indian magazine cover i.e. the March 2018 issue of Vogue India. We knew an Indian issue meant we’d get to see a whole new side of Kim in desi wear. You can tell that she is one who always dresses up or down (ref: the Paper Magazine cover) to show off her best assets, and what better than the classic Indian sari to show off those curves!
The Fashion Director of Vogue India, Anaita Shroff Adajania styled Kim in a fully sequinned Sabyasachi sari that was draped in an unexpected way. We’ve usually seen the sari pallu draped on the left shoulder but Kim K’s was a little different. The pallu was draped over her right shoulder and left loose to show off her chiseled midriff, while the pleats, done neatly in net accentuated her hips. We love how she wore no jewellery except a pair of minimal earrings from MISHO.
