We’ve loved all the seasons of House Of Cards. We’ve binged watched these episodes on end and it feels like the end of an era with the final season (Season 6) releasing soon. But what’s really giving us all the feels is the new twist in the plot. According to the short 45-second trailer that released just yesterday during the 90th Annual Academy Awards, the new President of the show is none other than Frank Underwood‘s wife, Claire Underwood.

If you aren’t already aware of why this is, let us fill you in. Due to the recent sexual misconduct allegations made against actor Kevin Spacey, Netflix has officially broken all ties with him. As he has now been let go from the show, the one taking his position is his wife on the show.

The short trailer shows us a busy White House with officials running around. And suddenly pans into the office of the President. The chair turns and it’s Robin Wright (Claire Underwood) who stands up and says we’re just getting started.

We know this is all due to Spacey’s misconduct and the result of the #TimesUp movement that’s been taking the world by storm. While some are excited, others are not so thrilled with Kevin Spacey being out of the picture. Besides all this, we are extremely intrigued and Netflix definitely has our attention with this trailer and we can’t wait. Can you?

Here’s the trailer in case you missed it.
