It’s Women’s Day and we’ve been on a bit of a women power streak lately. This new generation of women have overcome all negative notions and have proved themselves beyond doubt in every sphere of life. They have proved their stand in the cumbersome world of entrepreneurship which is absolutely commendable. They have no limits in proving their talent and we love their fierce attitude when it comes to busting their ass with work.

So today, on Women’s Day, let’s honour these 7 powerful women who possess style and substance:

1. Priyanka Chopra

This lady’s got a worldwide appeal but Piggy Chops isn’t done yet. She is the highest paid Indian celebrity and one of the most powerful women in entertainment and media. She’s standing tall right now, but for this one, the sky is the limit.

2. Masaba Gupta

Her kitsch fashion style has appealed to many and isn’t restricted just to clothes. She’s opening stores in every city possible and has explored multiple fashion avenues. From Masaba’s line of makeup for Lakme to designing a line of watches for Titan, she’s striking the iron when it’s hot!

3. Anaita Shroff Adajania

She is one of the leading voices within India’s fashion community and is credited with helping to steer Vogue magazine’s growth as one of the most renowned and fashion-forward publications in India. No one merges films and fashion like she does. Anaita defines fashion in India with her creative instinct.

4. Suhani Parekh

Her jewellery label has made it to the pages of Vogue Paris, Vogue Arabia and has been donned by the epitome of avant-garde style—Rihanna. Her unconventional and edgy design sensibilities have appealed to everyone! She’s bagged awards and managed to achieve so much at a young age.

5. Anita Dongre

She’s nailed that perfect mix of business and creativity. She’s branched out into so many fashion subbrands under her label so much so that Anita appeals not only the classes but the masses. She also offers a big chunk of employment for rural artisan women through her label.

6. Adhuna Babani

She started one of the best salons in the country and created a wide range of premium hair products and even built an academy for learning all the expertise surrounding the mane, she’s achieved it all. No one does hair better than Adhuna!

7. Richa Kar

She was the first one to make good quality lingerie accessible and affordable to the masses. She is the lady behind Zimane.com.

8. Tina Tahiliani

The first one to start selling multiple designers under one roof. Her store Ensemble has grown from a single store into a powerhouse she has built this place which is home to every big and emerging designer in town. Ensemble just completed 30 glorious years in fashion.

Happy Birthday @tinatahiliani ❤️ Thank you for always inspiring! #bosslady
