Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor recently attended the day two of the India Today Conclave. The sister duo spoke to senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on The Kapoor Clan: Films, Family and Feminism. And while discussing several topics during their conversation, Bebo was all praises for some of her colleagues.

“I appreciate actors like Kangana Ranaut, who bring problems to the forefront by talking about it in their interviews,” she said. We all know that Kangana is pretty vocal about things like wage gap between male actors and female actors in the industry. And Kareena appreciated this honesty of hers.

However, she doesn’t agree with Kangana’s thoughts on nepotism. And she gave Ranveer Singh’s example and stated:“There are many superstars from yesteryears and not all of their children are superstars. If nepotism exists everyone would have been superstars and number one. But the fact that today Ranveer Singh, (who) does not have mother or father who is a superstar, out of sheer talent and hard work he is where he is today. I don’t think nepotism exists.”She also added:“It is about talent, we may be children or grandchildren of somebody but once you are on the silver screen you are that part. When you have generations of actors and a huge legacy behind you, it is actually difficult for a star child to live up to it and succeed in this industry.”

Bebo has also been quoted by IANS saying:

My father (Randhir Kapoor) has been very supportive. He did not help us, (or) recommend us. He opened the door and told us to fly.

They flew and how!
