Two women swap homes after their bad break-ups. And each find love while they’re on their trip. This movie will fill your heart with hope and love.

5. When Harry Met Sally (1989)

This movie is quite a classic. It’s about a man and a woman trying to prove that men and women can share a platonic relationship. When eventually years later, they fall in love with each other. Aww!

6. It’s A Wonderful Life (1946)

This movie does complete justice to its name. It’s about a man who is frustrated with his life and wishes he was never born. His prayers are answered and an angel comes to him and with the help of his life’s flashbacks, makes him understand the importance of him on earth. This movie teaches us to not take life for granted and makes us understand our importance in this world.

7. Up (2009)

Up is a sweet story about an old man trying to fulfill the dream he has with his wife of visiting Paradise Falls, a place they wanted to visit together. They never managed to when she was alive and as a tribute to her, he attaches thousands of helium balloons on their house to make it float away to the destination. What he doesn’t realise is that there is a young school boy in the house who had showed up to earn a merit badge. The entire movie circles around the adventures the house goes through along with the old man and the young boy. The movie teaches us about their friendship and how love melts stubborn hearts.

8. The Princess Diaries (2001)

This movie is every girl’s dream. A young and non-significant high school student finds out that she is the heir to the throne in a country called Genovia. She learns that her father was in fact a prince and she starts to get trained for something she thought she wasn’t ready for. But circumstances make her realise that she is exactly what her country needs and she strives to take responsibilites to help others.

9. Despicable Me (2010)

A cute animated movie about a supervillian named Gru who plans to steal the moon. He and his helpers called Minions plot to do so. But in the midst of all this planning, he does not expect to meet three adorable little orphan girls who want Gru to be their father. This movie will cheer you up with all the comedy and cute characters that’ll make your day.

10. Chef (2017)

An inspiring story of a talented chef in Los Angeles who is frustrated with his intruding boss. He finally quits and while figuring out his future, he finds himself opening a fantastic food truck business that easily turns into the best thing that ever happened to him. This movie will motivate you to hang on to your passion and in fact, pursue it with all your heart.
