A blogger, at a very basic level is a person who writes blogs, obviously. But more importantly, focuses on developing a social media following that would allow them to influence their audience. They have the power to inspire tons of people with their words and their content. If you’re a blogger, you will be able to relate to the below points. Here they are:

1. People Think It’s Easy

People always say that there’s nothing to this job. In fact, it isn’t a real job according to some. Only bloggers know the struggles they face on a daily basis. A lot of people think that all we need to do is take pictures all day.

2. Freebie Insinuations

People also think that bloggers only write for free stuff. Of course, who doesn’t enjoy the occassional gift from a brand? But that does not mean that it is the reason we got into blogging. We do this as a passion. And that’s what drives us.

3. We’re All Grammar Nazis

Every blogger is basically a writer, which in turn makes them a stickler for grammar and punctuation. You secretly correct everyone’s grammar in your head. And that’s only fair. After all, it’s your bread and butter.

4. Sniffing Out Content From Everywhere

Everything we do, everywhere we go, and every single person we meet is content for us. It doesn’t matter if we’d use that content or not, but something from our personal lives always tends to inspire us. We sniff out content from everywhere.

5. Perfectly Angled Pictures

Ah, every image must look beautiful. Whether it’s a food picture, or an #ootd, the picture should be taken from the right angles. This could even mean that our photographer may have to stand on one foot, leaning over a table and almost falling on us. But we’d do anything for that perfect shot. Anything.

6. The Struggle Of Looking Perfect Always

Whether we’re into food, fashion or beauty, we have an image we need to maintain. It’s possible we’d bump into someone, so we always need to be prepared.

7. Managing Time

With so many events and shoots, it gets so tough to manage our time. But we’re multitaskers, and we know how to prioritize.

8. Working 24/7

There are no fixed timings when it comes to blogging. It could happen early in the morning, or you could be burning the midnight oil. Sometimes, weekends are busier than weekdays.

9. Using Gazillion Apps

Editing pictures is key. We need to use so many different types of apps to get that perfect colour, filter and other effects.

10. Staying Up-To-Date

A blogger needs to be up-to-speed with everything happening around. Whether it’s about what’s trending or an important piece of news. You’ve got to be on top of things.

11. Struggling With Fakers

Every blogger goes through this phenomenon. There are so many fakers and copy cats that could sometimes get to us. But we console ourselves by saying imitation is the best form of flattery and take it with a pinch of salt.

12. Social Media Is In Our Blood

We eat, sleep and breathe social media. Our lives revolve around trending posts and hashtags. We need to be active on so many different platforms that could be exhausting. But we do it with a lot of passion and we love every bit of it.

Being a blogger can be pretty overwhelming. And despite what everyone says, it’s not for everybody. We take immense pride in what we do and we will continue to do so. So if you’re a blogger, know that it isn’t easy. Not everyone can do what you do, and that is enough motivation to keep up the good work. Remember, bloggers and proud!
