Mix 1 teaspoon of ginger, honey, 1⁄2 cup of hot water, and 1⁄2 squeezed lemon. Gargle this mixture when it’s hot. Honey coats the throat to hydrate it and also has antibacterial properties.

A lukewarm tub bath or a sponge bath will help reduce a fever and as the water evaporates from the skin, it will cool the body and bring the temperature down.
