You know what they say, a couple that stands together, stay together! TV town’s favourite lovebirds Shilpa Saklani and Apurva Agnihotri have been giving all of us some serious #RelationshipGoals for over 10 years now and we’re not complaining! They always seem to have each other’s backs whether it’s their personal or professional lives.
Shilpa is all set to finally return to TV after a hiatus of four years and she will soon be seen in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s ‘Mahakaali — Anth Hi Aarambh Hai’ as Diti, the mother of all asuras. Here’s what she had to say about it:
“My husband and I are firm believers of Mata Rani. The show came at an auspicious time (Navratri) and there was no reason to say no.”
Shilpa was popular for her role in Kyukii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi but she says she eventually got tired of putting on make-up and doing the same thing for eight years and so retreated to doing cameo appearances after. She went on to talk about her husband’s role in convincing her for a role too.
“When people fail to convince me to take up a daily soap, they call up my husband for it. I start crying when Apurva forces me to take up TV shows, so he tells me to go easy and take up whatever suits me.”
Aww! Every relationship has its push and pulls, but we still love this couple to bits!
