We all know how Shilpa Shetty Kundra is such a daredevil when it comes to her take on a sari. We admit keeping a close eye on her sari style, and we can’t get enough.
For a recent event, Shilpa might not have worn a sari, per say, but it gave us all the vibes of a retro sari. Celebrity stylist Mohit Rai chose this Anamika Khanna ensemble that was displayed at the grand finale of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort 2018. It is really difficult to figure out the construction of this particular outfit, and that’s where the design genius lies.
Anamika surely did an extraordinary job in designing an ensemble, which has many layer details. It has cigarette pants with pockets, a drape of sari, a billowy blouse, statement collar and an embellished belt. Also, the eclectic polka dot print is the major focus. There are so many elements that come together to make this reinvented sari look.
Mohit keeps it simple and goes for a sans accessory style so that there are no distractions from this unique ensemble. But he continues the print play with pointed-toe heels by Jimmy Choo.
