Salman Khan

A Jodhpur court has reportedly convicted Salman Khan in the 1998 black buck poaching case, while the others involved, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari have been acquitted. As per latest reports, Salman has been convicted under section 9 and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act which has a jail term of minimum 1 year & maximum 6 years. Apparently, if the court pronounces a prison sentence of more than three years, he will have to approach a higher court for bail. However, if the sentence is less than 3 years, he can apply for bail in the same court.

Back in 1998, Salman was accused of killing two black bucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Kankani village near Jodhpur while shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hain. Stay tuned to MissMalini.com for more updates.
