Anushka Sharma, along with her brother, Karnesh Sharma founded her production house, Clean Slate Films in 2014. The actress has since then produced films like NH10, Phillauri, and Pari. She is one of the very few female producers in the country and has impressed critics as well as the audience with her selection of films across genres such as thriller, romance, and the latest being horror.
Reportedly, the actress’ production house has also provided new actors and artists a chance to showcase their talent through her films. In order to laud Anushka for her efforts towards creating clutter breaking cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation has decided to give her the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for 2018.
