After enthralling his fans with his recent action thriller, Baaghi 2, Tiger Shroff has finally started shooting for the very awaited Student Of The Year 2. And just like us, he took to social media to share his excitement.
Tiger expressed his gratitude for being a part of the franchise by sharing two pictures of which he shows the Student Of The Year 2 clapperboard with wishes from his director, Punit Malhotra and his producer, Karan Johar.
Here’s what Punit said to his new student.
“Tiger my brother you’re the best student.’’
Karan wrote down a sweet wish too.
‘’Welcome to SOTY Tiger, you will totally kill it.’’
The crew officially began shooting yesterday at Dehradun’s St.Teresa High School where the first Student Of The Year was shot as well. Karan had even given a heads up to all the SOTY fans that they would be going on floors with a tweet 2 days ago.

SOTY had launched Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan. So who are the new students in the sequel? Official announcements haven’t been made just yet. But, we know for sure that there will be two new girls on the block. From what we hear, Chunky Panday‘s daughter – Ananya Panday and another fresh face –Tara Sutaria have been finalized for this project.
