While fans have been eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor’s return to the big screen, the actor has unfortunately been diagnosed with typhoid and has been forced to take a break from his busy schedule. Ranbir, who was shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra in Bulgaria along with his co-star Alia Bhatt had just wrapped up the first schedule of the film and returned to Mumbai.
He has been put on a special diet and has also been strictly advised against any strenuous exercise. He is currently on bed-rest and recovering his health at his Mumbai home. This sure comes in at a bad time as Ranbir was undergoing intensive physical training and muscle building for his upcoming movie Brahmastra.
He has also been asked to skip Shabana Azmi’s fashion show, Mijwan where he was supposed to walk the ramp with Deepika Padukone. Ranbir was also shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s untitled movie based on Sanjay Dutt’s life. While his illness, may have caused slight delays in both the films he’s currently shooting, we’re sure he’ll bounce back soon!
