1. The Legendary Orange Couch

The orange couch in Central Perk was found in the Warner Brothers studio basement. This couch was actually just a random piece of furniture before it became iconic. In fact, it was an unspoken rule that no one was to ever sit on the couch other than the actors during a scene.

Lisa Kudrow based her hippie character, Phoebe Buffay, on her co-star Jennifer Aniston because of the actress’ interest in spiritual subjects.
