I wonder what people are finding so curious in me these days, I was here for thousands of years, Clean, green and snowy. But somehow things are changing. Although I love humans, I guess I have done something very wrong to them. Because every time they arrive, I lose a part of me. They leave behind some stuff that I don't know of, And it doesn't even rot. I have tried to engulf some of these things, But it makes me sick. I can't digest. I am thirstier these days. I guess rain is no longer my friend. Even the snow has stopped meeting me. Am I that bad? Everything was good a few years back. I wonder if I can become a better mountain some day. Because I miss my friends. And most of all, I miss being me. Said a mountain one day…. . . . . . #beresponsibletraveler #himachalpradesh #himalayangirldiary #saveearth #gogreen #shotononeplus @oneplus_india #justamountainthing #kullu #india #letmequote

Noor . I kept climbing the mountains with an opinion that I'll find something at the top of them, until that afternoon, as I turned around and looked at the valley below, with Baspa meandering through the mountains. I realised that all I had wished for has been here, while on a mountain across she was running behind sheep. After that I never climbed the mountains in search of an answer, but just did it only for fun and happiness, like a child. . So I smiled looking at the view, while the cold winds kept ruffling my hair while the harsh sun was leaving me with another inch of sunburn by every minute. And I laughed, I laughed with the leaves laden with snow, I laughed with the blues of Baspa, I laughed with the brightness of a clear sky, I laughed with the Kinner Kailash that stood tall somewhere in distance. I heard her laughing too, which was weird. For she wasn't standing close to me, I couldn't even see her, but I heard her, her footsteps, her whispers. And I knew that my love for Noor wouldn't be the way I imagined, it would arrive to shatter all my definitions that I've built up over the years and make me forget everything that I had learned through all my previous relationships. . That afternoon I learned that when everything will be erased, I'll find myself standing there as a 10 year old boy who hadn't been through the breakups, for whom love wasn't who will make first move, or who will play hard to get, or who will say sorry first, or who will bring egos in between. I once again stood as the one, for whom love was just … Love. And then I heard her again, as if distance no longer mattered, and telepathically I could listen to her, to her surroundings and feel the same wind hitting my face. And so I laughed, and watched my friends climbing the mountain behind me, and I was there with them, but I was with Noor too. As if I belonged to her. To every part of her. And so I began my learning about loving every bit of her. And learning that I'll hear her, even on days when she wasn't close, for I learned that no matter how far I went, she'll find me, and I'll find her whispers ringing within me. And so I began, my journey with Noor. . #alittlebitofNoor
