The Kapoor khandaan is busy putting together everything in time for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja‘s wedding. The shaadi is scheduled for 8th of May and will be preceded by the Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies. The couple is evidently much in love and we can’t stop gushing over the two. The more we learn about Anand, the more he seems like the perfect guy for Sonam. Even her brother, Harshvardhan Kapoor approves of her choice and was quoted saying,
I am really happy she is getting married. Anand is a great guy.
A lot of girls often dream of finding a guy who makes them truly happy and the immediate inspiration for their ‘dream guy’ comes from their amazing dads. You’d think that Sonam would want the same given that she is a doting daughter to her father Anil Kapoor.
But that’s not the case folks. Wait. Before you get all, WHAT?! WHY?! WTF?!, here’s what she had said in an interview back in 2012 on Simi Garewal‘s chat show.
The actress had revealed that she was too much like her dad, Anil Kapoor and they were both dreamy and non-pragmatic. They could even get really childish at times, which is why she wanted a life partner who was more like her mom. She had said that her father wasn’t like normal people and his passion for work and brilliance made him crazy, which is how she sees herself. She had asserted saying that having a husband like that would mean total madness.
Haha, in that case, we’re glad Anand is nothing like Anil and also, we love how the daddy-daughter duo is so similar!
