Seventy-eight-year-old Carl Fredricksen travels to Paradise Falls in his home equipped with balloons and doesn’t realise that there’s a kid stranded on the house with him.

6. Me Before You (2016)

A girl from a small town bonds with a recently-paralyzed man who she takes care of because she needs to work.

7. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

A troubled child summons the courage to help a friendly alien escape Earth and return to his homeworld.

8. City Of Angels (1998)

Inspired by the modern classic Wings of Desire, an angel is spotted by a doctor in an operating room. This movie is about how he falls in love with a human.

9. One Day (2011)

After spending the night together once, a boy and girl coincidently meet every year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together and sometimes they aren’t, on that day.

10. The Lake House (2006)

A lonely doctor who once owned a beautiful lakeside house begins exchanging love letters with its former resident, a frustrated architect. They must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it’s too late.
