Alia Bhatt totally ruled the world of casual Indianwear with her promotional looks for Raazi. We’re diggin’ how celebrity stylist Ami Patel chose to stay downright desi with most of Alia’s looks. She chose salwars and lehengas that were statement-making in their own way and paired ’em with minimal jewellery and fresh makeup. Needless to say that Alia pulled off each of these looks flawlessly and ruled our Instagram feed with all of her prettiness. Keep scrolling to see a few of our faves:
1. Minimal Monotone
Ami Patel paired the creations of dRzya by Ridhi & Abhinav Mishra in this pretty pastel pink. The gold embellishment, bouncy hair and minimal jhumkas made this look a total winner.
2. Simple Pastels
This Punit Balana ensemble spoke grace and elegance in every way, don’t you think? The flared pants with a simple round neck kurta and sheer dupatta were just perfect together.
3. Borderline Bright
This Patine floor length anarkali had such an old-school charm to it. We love how there was much focus on the borders of this ensemble with intricate embroidery and gota work all long the dupatta and kurta.
4. Floral Bloom
We fell even harder for Sabyasachi Mukherjee‘s designs when we saw Alia Bhatt in this blooming, summer-ready salwar-kurta combination.
5. Dreamy Desi
How perfectly did Raw Mango‘s dreamy grey kurta go with Alia Bhatt’s minimal makeup and intricate gold earrings? We’re totally swooning over this look.
6. Summer-Ready OOTD
If there is a colour that embodies what summer is all about, it has to be this pretty shade of yellow. Alia wears this bright hue in a Nikasha creation with an Abhinav Mishra dupatta in white. We’ll def be wearing this look for the Summer—what about you?
