Taapsee Pannu has always made sure that her choice of films makes her stand out from the rest of the industry. The actress, who has been maintaining a perfect balance between commercial and content-driven films, took some time off her busy schedule to holiday in Spain, and her social media feed ended up giving us some serious #travelgoals.
So while Taapsee was busy wearing her travel shoes, we had a quick tête-à-tête with the Judwaa 2 actress, and here’s what she said.
What kind of traveller are you?
A traveller who loves to see and know the city well. I prefer living and traveling the local way. I also love to walk around a lot and see all the places that make that city unique.
What’s the one thing about Spain that took you by surprise?
I had pretty high expectations from Spain and I was happy that it met all my expectations. I was particularly in love with the architecture of the country.
Name three travel essentials
Good shoes to walk in, a good network and phone to help you move around using maps, and a camera to capture beautiful memories.
Which is the one place you could visit over and over again?
I am a person who strongly believes that one should never repeat a destination as life is too short and there are so many destinations in the world to see. So I wish, I don’t have to repeat any city.
Name a place that’s on your bucket list?
Next on my bucket list is New Zealand.
What’s your travel playlist like?
I don’t really listen to music when I travel because I’m busy looking at the places and listening to people around. I only listen to music when I workout or while I get ready at work.
One travel tip for your fans?
Try and travel through local transport – by trains and buses. Also, make sure that you are living in the center of the city so that everything is accessible.
Where are you off to next?
Next, I am off to Rome.
On the work front, the actress who was last seen opposite Saqib Salem in Dil Juunglee recently wrapped up the shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan which also stars Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan. Apart from Manmarziyaan, Taapsee also has upcoming films Mulk, Tadka, and Soorma in her kitty.
