One of the daughters of Thanos, Nebula is a skilled warrior, a revel and is also extremely cunning and smart. Just like Gamora, she is a master at combat and can slay enemies with the wave of her hand. She is both aggressive and passionate when it comes to executing orders. With her speed and wit, she makes a great asset to any team shes on. You’ve got to be sure to not piss her off though because she really loves to hold a grudge!

The last we saw of this beautiful, smart and extremely powerful mutant was in X-Men Apocalypse. In the end, they hinted at the start of a new saga and soon after confirmed her standalone film, The Dark Phoenix. Even in the comics, Jean has always played a vital part. Her powers, intelligence, righteousness and humble personality has always made her a role model for others. She has always tried to use her powers for the betterment of society and has been patient with her co-mutants.

Skills: Telepathy and telekinesis.

Powerful and stunning, Wonder Woman is known for her lasso of truth, indestructible bracelets, boomerang tiara, sword and shield. She has been the embodiment of strength, justice and courage for generations and also a role model for many little girls. Her helpful nature, willingness to protect those in trouble at any time, ability to see the good in others and live a humble life in spite of being a princess, that sets her apart. The success of the movie is basically what paved the way for more women superhero movies.

Skills: Superhuman strength, speed, durability, reflexes, longevity, flight and a master at hand-to-hand combat.

4. Gamora, Guardians Of The Galaxy & Infinity War

Another daughter of the ruthless supervillain Thanos, Gamora was trained under up. She is smart and always alert and quick in fighting her enemies. Repenting for her past crimes when she was an assassin working with Thanos, Gamora is by definition, a total badass! Her character is one with a lot of emotion and goes through various developments through her story. That being said, she is still one of the deadliest people in the universe and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for her!

Skills: Highly skilled assassin and gymnast, master martial artist, superhuman strength, speed, agility and durability, accelerated healing factor.

5. Mystique, X-Men Apocalypse

Everyone knows that Mystique’s power is her ability to change her appearance and transform herself into anything and anyone at any given time. One of the most unique characters in the superhero realm, her true identity is that of a gorgeous blue mutant who can rip her enemies apart in one go. Strongwilled and cunning, Mystique is definitely a female superhero that will leave you surprised. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty when it comes to protecting her kind or fighting for something she cares about.

Skills: Shapeshifting, superhuman agility and reflexes, agelessness and accelerated healing factor.

6. Black Widow, Infinity War

One of the OG badasses to hit the silver screens, Black Widow pretty much has a special place in everyone’s heart. While she hasn’t gotten a lot of love from studios, rumours speak of a stand-alone movie that may be in the works. This highly trained spy is calm and quick on her feet. Always thinking three steps ahead, she can kill her enemies or outwit them in the blink of an eye.

Skills: An expert martial artist with impressive interrogation skills, competent scientific mind and hacking skills.

7. Scarlet Witch, Infinity War

With almost limitless powers and looks that could kill, Scarlet Witch is truly a power to be reckoned with. While there might have been a few issues in the process of getting her to the silver screen, there is no doubt that Marvel has done a pretty great job. Infinity Wars gave us a little more to be excited about when it comes to her powers because she truly kicked some butt. We can’t wait to see where they take this and hope that there is a solo movie soon.

Skills: Hypnosis, levitation, energy blasts and telekinesis.

The next big female-led superhero that’s coming to the screens will be Captain Marvel, who is the final piece of the Infinity War chapter. We can’t wait to see what they’ve done with her. While the release seems to be a while away, we can rewatch all the older movies! In fact, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is premiering for the first time on TV! So if you haven’t watched it yet, head over to Star Movies at 1:00 PM and repeat telecast at 9:00 PM!
