It’s been 2 weeks or so since Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi tied the knot, but we still know very little about the couple’s love story and how they got away with their secret wedding. Worry not, because we caught up with Neha and she was quite candid about how her main man got her to say yes!
As Bollywood has taught us, pyaar dosti hai actually turned out to be true for these newlyweds. Neha revealed that Angad and her have been friends for 15 years now and as luck would have it they found love in each other. She also told us that he is extremely close to her parents and had decided that he would propose to her amidst them. When Neha was visiting her parents in Delhi, unbeknownst to her, he happened to be there and popped the question in front of her entire family.
While the proposal itself was quite an intimate and low-key affair, Neha said that it was extremely close to her heart.
And turns out Angad and his mother in law get along really well too! What more could Neha ask for, eh?
Angad is extremely close to my mom and the two get along like a house on fire. I feel really lucky to have married my best friend.
