Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania have been busy promoting Veere Di Wedding. The film which is set to release on the 1st of June is a story of four friends and all the madness that surrounds a wedding. It is not a typical chick flick and the actress’ have proven just how much, with their bold avatars and eyebrow-raising answers at all the promotional events. Out of the lot, Kareena usually has the most interesting answers. She managed to do that again when she was asked by IANS about being a feminist:
I believe in equality. I wouldn’t say I am a feminist, I would say I am a woman and above all, I am a human being. I am also as proud to be known as Saif Ali Khan’s wife, as I am to be Kareena Kapoor. So that is just the way I am.
Umm, that’s an interesting statement to make, especially when a lot of actresses in the industry are upfront about being a feminist.
