When it comes to a dress code, red carpets are mostly a very extravagant affair. Denim, shorts, PJs are something we can never imagine someone would choose for the occasion unless you’re Deepika Padukone. Because Deepika know’s her red carpet #OOTN!
DP was spotted on the GQ 100 Best Dressed red carpet wearing a pair of leather shorts by Anthony Vaccarello for YSL which she teamed up with a sheer blouse from Balmain and accessorised with black stockings and a pair of glorious Christian Louboutin heels. Clearly, celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani knew how to keep things exciting when it comes to styling this leggy diva for the event. While we never thought she would be flaunting a pair of shorts on the red carpet, her long legs sure make it seem like the new uniform for any red carpet event. Only she could turn our hearts from loving an all-black gown to an all-black sass-filled leather shorts!
She has definitely paved the way for more daring dressing on the red carpet for all future events. Here’s hoping we see more of Deepika’s experimental fashion side soon!
