It all began with Manish Malhotra‘s prediction of 2018 hottest affair on Vogue BFFs and now we’re here! With Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt arriving together at Sonam Kapoor‘s reception, the buzz of these two dating were at an all time high. Putting speculations to rest, Ranbir recently admitted to dating Alia in an interview with GQ and we lost our calm. With the arrival of a new B-Town couple, we are obviously curious to know how it all started off for the two and now we’ve found some answers.
While Alia admitted her admiration for Ranbir back in Koffee With Karan Season 4, the two reportedly got closer while they were shooting for Brahmastra in Bulgaria. A source close to the couple told Hindustan Times that the two became great friends on their first visit to Bulgaria.
The two took off to Bulgaria, first for a recce with Ayan and then later for the film’s shoot. Alia and Ranbir also spent New Year’s Eve in Bulgaria and Alia’s Instagram (photograph) was proof of their budding friendship.

That’s not all, seems like Ranbir’s parents have a soft corner for Alia too. Recently Ranbir’s mom, Neetu Kapoor have been taking to comment on Alia’s pictures.
