The first trailer of the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper-starrer, A Star Is Born is out and it has left us feeling a tad emotional. The duo sing together and make a great on-screen couple in this, Cooper’s directorial debut.
About The Trailer
We totally love Lady Gaga’s look in the trailer, which is quite unlike her stage presence during her live performances. We get to see her natural beauty. From the trailer, we come to know that Lady Gaga plays the role of a closet singer who is shy and conscious of her looks but comes out in the open after Cooper, a county singer, discovers her talent and sees potential in her of being a star. What follows is an intimate relationship between the two, peppered with a series of successes and failures along the way. According to news.com.au, both Gaga and Cooper performed a live song on stage as they shot the movie rather than miming to a recorded track.
This is Lady Gaga’s first movie where she has a leading role. She has written songs along with Bradley Cooper as well other artists like Jason Isbell, Lukas Nelson and Mark Ronson.
The Original Movie
This is the third remake of the movie. While the original movie in 1954 starred Judy Garland and James Mason, the 1976 remake starred Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
The heartwarming trailer is so inspiring that we cannot wait to watch the movie. TBH, we’re rooting for the on screen chemistry as they sing so beautifully together! The movie is all set to release on October 5, 2018.
