Race 3 will hit the screens today. While the trailer offered us an amazing ensemble cast, one particular actor managed to surprise us more than the rest. We are talking about Bobby Deol. After a long sabbatical, Bobby is back and we cannot contain our excitement! The ’90s heartthrob was missing from the limelight for years.
Ask him the reason for it and he says:
I was looking for myself for 4 years. Everybody goes through ups and downs and deals with it in their own ways. Maybe I couldn’t deal with it the way I wanted to so it took some time for me. My father has always been my inspiration. I have my kids, so I wonder how I should inspire them. I have to make them believe in the world outside that everything is possible and achievable, that sparked a plug in me.
He is clearly showing the signs of a fighter considering he’s bounced back and how!
My father is a fighter, my brother and everybody has had ups and downs but they kept fighting and I don’t know where did I lose that? Where did I lose my fire? Looking at the fire Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor had charged me up. It’s really rubbing off on me. Now, I’m just trying to focus and do the best of what I can and look after myself.
We’ve heard Salman Khan narrating the tale he about getting Bobby back. What was the real reason for accepting this script and he reveals,
One day Salman called up and asked for Race3. I said I would do anything. I’m just letting my inner strength and positive attitude reflect on to people and show them that I’m really dying to work every day of my life.
